Privacy policy
Who we are
This website is run by MC Tech, a web and app development business in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In this policy, we and us mean MC Tech.
What this site collects
This site has no user accounts, no login and no server-side form. The message builder runs in your browser, and what you type into it is not sent to or stored by this website.
Messages you send us
The message builder only prepares a message. When you press the send button, it opens your own email app or messaging app with the message ready, and you decide whether to send it.
We receive your message only if you send it. We then see what you wrote and the contact details your app shares with us. We use that information to reply to you and to prepare a quote. We do not sell it.
Cookies and browser storage
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for two small items: your light or dark theme choice, and a note that you have seen the cookie notice. Neither identifies you.
You can remove them at any time by clearing your browser data. The Cookie notice button in the footer shows the notice again.
Analytics
This site does not currently use analytics. If that changes, this policy will be updated.
Hosting and technical data
The site is delivered by a hosting provider, which processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to serve the pages and keep the service secure. That processing is covered by the provider's own privacy terms.
Fonts and other services
The fonts on this site are served from the site itself, so loading them does not send your visit to a font provider.
Links to other services, such as Instagram, TikTok, GitHub, X or Telegram, take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep messages
We keep project messages for as long as we need them to reply to you and to carry out any work we agree, and for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We handle these requests under the applicable law in Ethiopia, and we aim to respond within 24 hours. You can email us at mctech.et@gmail.com, call +251 959 072 131, or use the contact options in the Start a project section of the home page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
